About the Founder

The Oglesby Beckles Education Center was founded by Bryttnee Oglesby Beckles, MBA, an experienced instructional leader, literacy specialist, and Principal in Residence pursuing principal certification in the state of Texas.

With over a decade of experience in public education, Bryttnee has served as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, instructional coach, testing coordinator, and campus leader. Throughout her career, she has helped students strengthen their reading skills, supported teachers in delivering effective instruction, and partnered with families to ensure children receive the academic support they need to thrive.

As a Principal in Residence, Bryttnee works closely with educators and leadership teams to improve instruction and student outcomes through intentional planning, data informed decisions, and research based practices. She brings this same level of care, structure, and expertise to every family and student served through OBEC.

The Oglesby Beckles Education Center was created with one clear goal: to help children become confident, capable readers while giving parents clarity, support, and peace of mind. OBEC offers high quality, personalized reading tutoring focused on foundational literacy, comprehension, vocabulary development, and writing, all tailored to meet each child where they are.
